Green Energy Consumers Alliance

Partner with us to support New England Wind Fund when you fly! Our Jet-Set Offset supporters add 1 megawatt-hour of wind energy to the New England electric grid for every 5,000 miles they need to fly.

Green Energy Consumers Alliance (formerly Mass Energy and People’s Power & Light) harnesses the collective power of energy consumers to speed the transition to a low-carbon future. Our programs enable people to make green energy choices.

Each Jet-Set Offset contribution will be spent on wind power within 10 years through the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates, known as RECs. RECs provide an additional stream of steady funding for local wind developers. Our New England Wind Fund has helped support 22 new wind projects since 2002.

For every 5,000 miles flown, you'll make sure 1 megawatt-hour of wind energy comes onto our electric grid. That's enough to power the average home for 6 weeks, and to prevent 970 pounds of carbon emissions.
